Chief Chef. At the end of August 1997, our new departmental chair Dave Coleman, and his wife Betsy, hosted a barbeque for the Geographic Engineering Group. Despite the rain, Dave managed to keep smiling and keep the chicken coming, thus once again demonstrating the high calibre of management skills he brings to the Department. This was a small celebration to recognize Dave Finley, who completed his Masters degree and is now with NBGIC, and Kati Komjathy, who was departing her job as research assistant in the Department to move to Boulder, Colorado, with husband (newly entitled) "Dr." Atilla Komjathy.
