What We Do

Some sort of explanation...We examine land tenure and land tenure systems....Land tenure refers to the Rights, Responsibilities, and Restraints that individuals and groups of individuals have with the land....We also help to design, improve and modify land tenure systems, institutional arrangements governing the relationships among individuals and groups with regard to the allocation of the land and use of the land.

Our capacity building activities often overlap with our areas of research and oursubsequent publications but in the following pages we have attempted to better define/narrow each feild's scope in order to show you the wide variety of activties we are invovled in.

Look at our posters of our research and capacity-building eff orts, made with our friends from CPS!

(Capacity Building, Land Policy & Institutional Development, Land Administration & Alternative Dispute Resolution and Land & Gender Equity Issues) (Link these to the posters once you turn them into PDFs)
