GGE Anniversary Gala

On the evening of Friday, October 29, right after the Geomatics Atlantic 2010 conference at the Delta Hotel in Fredericton, GGE will have a gala reunion event. We're arranging for entertainment from local musicians, and food prepared by the hotel. We'll be showing a video made entirely by our current graduate students, and hopefully a humorous skit too. At the gala, we will also be launching a book – By Any Measure: A History of Surveying and Geodesy at the University of New Brunswick – written by Wendy Wells. There'll also be an introduction to a number of previous Chairs of the department who we hope will be able to attend.

There is a cost involved to cover our expenses of $40, and booking for this gala reunion event can be made on the Geomatics Atlantic 2010 website (click to the left).
