GGE's Online GPS Data Processing Service Approaches 5,000 Submissions

GAPS can be accessed via its website: gaps.gge.unb.ca. A user uploads a RINEX observation file and receives the processing results back in an e-mail message.

In the past year, use of GAPS has grown exponentially as more and more people become aware of it through papers and presentations and through its presence on the Precise Point Positioning Software Centre website. In addition to the GAPS submission procedure outlined above, a user can send an e-mail to ppp@unb.ca with the RINEX observation file attached and receive not only the GAPS solution but solutions from three other PPP software engines as well.

GAPS has been used all around the world, with submissions from virtually every continent, even from the most remote corners of the globe.
