12th Annual Atlantic Institute Student Research Conference

The AISRC conference was run in conjunction with the Geomatics Atlantic 2004 conference. This partnership offers an opportunity for students to network with professionals and to increase the awareness of both students and industry of current research. The students had a great opportunity to talk with more than 150 attendees of the Geomatics Atlantic conference and to visit 24 exhibition booths from industry, government, and education institutions.

It was a great success for the two conferences and also for all the participating students.

Dr. Sylvie Daniel from the University Laval introduces Laval's geomatics program.

Dr. Kate Beard introduces research activities in the Department of Spatial Information Science and Engineering at the University of Maine.

Dr. Yun Zhang introduces research activities in GGE at UNB.

Dr. David Coleman encourages students to "shoot for the moon".
