The 11 students taking part in GGE 2013 were mainly in their second year studying Geomatics Engineering.

The students were divided up into two groups in order to be able to survey Black Beach and the Old Musquash Wharf. These groups were:

The camp instructor was Dr. Peter Dare and Howard Biggar acted as a teacher's assistant.
