Research Presentation: Mobile Land Survey Information Systems
2012-September-17: A presentation by graduate student Rj Zimmer: Mobile Land Survey Information Systems - How to create location based services for land surveyors.
This presentation will discuss the need for field access to survey information, how to create a mobile app for surveyors that provides access to survey information in a location context, and demonstrates these concepts using a control point finder application based on the Service New Brunswick High Precision Network control point map service, ESRI basemaps, ESRI javascript API, the HTML5 geolocation service, and javascript.
The presentation will be held in H-128 at 10:30 AM.
